I want this information to serve as a warning to individuals about Anthony D. Parnell’s true character and motivation. It seems we give leeway to those who identity themselves as creative, intellectuals, spiritual, or experts. Anthony Parnell uses his training as a mental health therapist and his gift of words to manipulate and exploit people for his personal gain. While he may try to give the impression of a successful businessman, he actually lives a parasitic lifestyle, using people he feels are inferior for a place to live, money, free food, or sex. I met him in July of 2008 and within 3 months he submitted his resignation. He quit his job at D’Veal family and youth Services on 12/19/08 without the benefit of another job, enough business clients to support himself, or unemployment benefits. What he did have, however, was a sucker like me, someone he could deceive. I was the contingency plan; I had a place to live, a car, plenty of food, and money. By April 1st 2009 he began spending time at my house and sleeping on the couch of a friend. Anthony D. Parnell spent a total of 22 months using me for his own financial gain. It finally ended on 5/9/2010 when I found the Craigslist ad he placed in the casual encounters section for sex entitled “
Well Hung Black Man.” He gets bored easily and has a constant need for stimulation. He has always utilized Craigslist, Plenty of Fish (ajazzmusicman) and other dating sites to attract and use woman though the use of poetry. That’s what he’s doing when he’s up late at night “working” on the computer. He specifically targets “mature” women who have money to support him in exchange for sexual favors and has placed ads on Craigslist entitled, “
Attractive Artist Seeks Generous Lady” and “
Published Author Seeks Benefactor.” Need I say more?
These are HIS words. We all know the name given to women who do this sort of thing, now what’s the name for men? Gigolo comes to mind. If you think I’m a women scorned, you’ve missed the point. I am a woman who is exposing the game and laying out what’s beneath the superficial charm and false persona. He picked the wrong one this time. Anthony Dwane Parnell is willing to risk his professional credentials as a M.S.W. and reputation as a writer and business strategist on this nonsense. He informed me that he utilizes the services of happy ending massage parlors, and hookers. He has mastered of use of manipulation techniques and will try to gain your sympathy. Be aware that he will tell you about his family tragedy, his financial set-backs, how his father or grandfather treated him, or how his ex-wife hit him. This is a pity play. He will tell you that you’re like family so that you will feel obligated to him. He will, of course, attack me directly; he’ll say I had something to do with his car being repossessed. What he will fail to tell you (deception through lies of omission) is that he hadn’t made a car payment in 10 months and that I paid 3 of the 6 payments that were actually made. He believes he is special and will never admit to any wrongdoing. He feels no guilt or remorse for how his actions have negatively affected other people and will actively seek to justify them. The marker of conscienceless behavior. He says he wants someone to pray with, but in reality he wants to prey upon trusting people. I sent him a
letter dated 6/23/2010 demanding my money back. Shortly thereafter, I received an e-mail asking if we could be “friends.” I instantly suspected another attempt at manipulation, especially when terms like “value you as a person” and “like family” were used. I was right; he simply didn’t want to pay back the money even though he stated that he would, “give you back your money and get some new hoes.” I have yet to receive my money back as outlined in the
demand letter and even recently paid him for writing assistance. I take full responsibility for not following my instincts; hopefully someone will learn from my mistakes and heed my warning. Also, just so you know, he's one of those color struck ignorant "negroes" who runs around telling you how "light-skinned" and "high-yellow" he is. He prefers non-Black woman because he finds them more submissive and easier to manipulate. He'll date Black woman, but she better have money!
